Tired of Surface-Level Solutions? Commit to Real, Lasting Recovery
Typical physical therapy often focuses narrowly on symptoms or isolated body parts, leading to short-term relief without addressing underlying causes. This approach can feel rushed, formulaic, or lacking in personalized care, leaving many clients frustrated and stuck in a cycle of recurring pain
At Monarch Training Systems, our mission is to educate and empower women, amplify their voices within the healthcare system, and de-stigmatize pelvic floor physical therapy. We blend evidence-based care with holistic tools, offering online rehab coaching, in-person physical therapy, and Reiki energy healing, to support both physical recovery and nervous system regulation. Every service is designed to help women reconnect with their bodies, heal deeply, and move forward with strength and confidence.
Our process emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of the whole person, integrating orthopedic and pelvic health with nervous system regulation, sports performance, and individualized education. By combining evidence-based techniques with a deeper connection to each client’s unique needs and goals, we deliver care that not only alleviates pain but also restores function, builds resilience, and empowers lasting recovery.
About Monarch Training Systems
This company was founded by Dr. Taylor Tattan on the belief that true healing starts with understanding, empowerment, and reconnecting to the body’s natural strength and resilience.
As a former competitive collegiate gymnast, Taylor experienced the consequences of pushing through injuries without proper recovery, nutrition, or strength training. Early exposure to rehabilitation through a physical therapist/gymnastics coach inspired her passion for whole-person wellness. This shifted her focus from appearance to function, leading to improved health and pain relief.
Now, as a physical therapist and online rehab coach, Taylor provides evidence-based, compassionate care that integrates orthopedic and pelvic health with sports performance and nervous system regulation.
Additionally, as a Reiki practitioner, Taylor offers energetic healing techniques that complement traditional rehabilitation.
By combining these distinct approaches, Taylor helps clients manage pain, restore function, and build lasting resilience. Through personalized education and guidance, Taylor empowers each client to feel connected, confident, and in control of their healing journey.
Monarch Training Systems offers in person services in Seattle, WA and online rehab coaching across the United States.

If you’ve been dealing with recurring pelvic or low back pain, told to “just rest,” or left feeling unsure of what to do after physical therapy ends, I want you to know you’re not alone. So many people feel frustrated, confused, or dismissed when they’re trying to get answers about their body.
And if you’ve tried traditional PT for things like:
Pelvic floor dysfunction
Prolapse
Pelvic girdle or pubic symphysis pain
Diastasis recti
Urinary leakage
SI joint pain
Mechanical low back pain
Limited mobility
…but still don’t feel like you have a clear path forward, it doesn’t mean you’re “broken” or doing anything wrong. It just means you need a more personalized approach.
A virtual assessment gives us the space to really slow down and understand what’s going on in your body. We can dive into your movement patterns, your strength, your daily stress, how you breathe, how you rest, and everything else that plays a role in how you feel. From there, we can create a plan that feels doable, supportive, and actually makes sense for your life.
This 1:1 program is designed to help you reconnect with your body, rebuild strength in a way that feels safe and empowering, and move toward the activities you miss without fear, confusion, or guesswork.
What’s included:
Regular 1:1 virtual check-ins where we talk through form checks, what’s working, what’s not, and how your body is responding
Customized rehab and strength work based on your goals and your pace
Movement assessments with gentle, helpful video feedback so you know exactly what to focus on
Access to your own training app to keep everything organized and easy to follow
Supportive lifestyle resources on things like nutrition, sleep, stress, and nervous system care
Weekly nervous system lessons + short reflection prompts to help you build awareness and resilience
Simple daily practices to help your body feel more grounded and regulated
Ongoing messaging support so you never feel like you’re doing this alone

Pelvic floor physical therapy is a whole-body, strength-based approach to restoring optimal function of the muscles, fascia, and joints of the pelvis and core.
Treatment goes beyond symptom management to address how you breathe, move, and load your body during everyday activities and exercise.
Sessions commonly include:
Strength and Loading Progressions: Targeted resistance training to improve the pelvic floor’s ability to generate force, relax appropriately, and coordinate with the rest of the core.
Breathwork and Pressure Management: Techniques to optimize diaphragmatic breathing and regulate intra-abdominal pressure, helping the pelvic floor work reflexively and efficiently during lifting, running, and daily tasks.
Pelvis and Rib Cage Alignment: Movement retraining and manual techniques to improve the relationship between the ribs, spine, and pelvis, enhancing core integration and reducing mechanical strain.
Internal Pelvic Floor Assessment: When appropriate and with consent, internal vaginal and/or rectal assessment is used to directly evaluate muscle tone, strength, coordination, trigger points, and tissue mobility. This allows for precise, individualized treatment planning.
This comprehensive approach supports recovery from conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, postpartum changes, and athletic pelvic dysfunction while empowering you to build resilient, confident movement.

Monarch Training Systems' approach to physical therapy goes beyond treating symptoms and addresses the underlying cause of pain, tension, and movement limitations. Through personalized 1:1 care, each session focuses on identifying movement patterns, postural habits, and mechanical imbalances that contribute to discomfort or injury. Treatment may include movement re-education, targeted therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy to restore mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall function.
Rather than isolating body parts or providing temporary relief, we take a comprehensive look at how your body moves as a whole. Every session is dedicated time to assess and correct the factors driving your pain, with the goal of helping you move more efficiently and with less strain. The result is not just short-term improvement, but long-term resilience, better movement quality, and lasting outcomes.
Clinical areas of interest include:
Hip/low back pain & related movement impairments
Foot and ankle pain and biomechanics
Performance care and injury prevention for gymnasts
Return-to-sport progression after injury

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice using light touch or hands held just above the body to promote relaxation and support the body’s innate healing processes. Physiologically, Reiki may activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping lower stress hormones, ease tension, and create the calm state necessary for repair and restoration.
Beyond relaxation, Reiki works with the body’s biofield which is the subtle electromagnetic field generated by every cell, organ, and system. The heart and brain produce especially strong fields that influence overall coherence, or the state of balance between mind and body. Through focused intention and presence, Reiki practitioners help realign these subtle energetic patterns to restore harmony and flow.
From a quantum perspective, Reiki aligns with concepts of resonance and interconnectedness, suggesting that energetic influence can occur beyond direct physical contact. While the exact mechanisms remain under scientific exploration, research in biofield and quantum biology supports the idea that subtle energy interactions may help regulate cellular communication and overall physiological balance.
Sessions often leave clients feeling grounded, centered, and at ease which reflect the body’s natural ability to return to equilibrium when given the conditions of calm and connection. Clients may also notice shifts in physical tension, improved sleep, or a general sense of balance in the days following.
Reactions can be subtle or profound. Some individuals experience an immediate sense of relief, while others may notice gradual changes as the energy continues to integrate. It’s also normal to feel tired, emotional, or even energized after a session which is simply our body’s way of processing and recalibrating.
