Dr. Taylor Tattan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and the founder of Monarch Training Systems. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Springfield College, where she also competed as a Division III gymnast specializing on the balance beam.

Taylor brings a strong background in orthopedic and performance-based physical therapy, with clinical experience at EXOS Headquarters and Pepperdine University, as well as strength and conditioning experience at Champion Physical Therapy & Performance. Her work has spanned a wide range of populations, from high school and collegiate athletes to semi-professional and NFL players, giving her a deep understanding of both rehabilitation and high-level performance.

She specializes in pelvic health and low back pain, with other clinical interests including hip pain & dysfunction, foot and ankle pain and biomechanics, management of hypermobility/hEDS, performance care for athletes, particularly gymnasts, powerlifters, dancers, and more.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Taylor integrates advanced strength and conditioning principles into pelvic health care, effectively bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance.

Her clinical approach is informed by advanced training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, including Pregnancy Rehabilitation, Postpartum Rehabilitation, and Pelvic Function Level 1, as well as coursework through the Postural Restoration Institute including Myokinematic Restoration. This foundation allows her to tailor care to each individual’s movement patterns, strength demands, and nervous system needs.

Taylor’s work is grounded in a holistic view of healing. In addition to her orthopedic and pelvic health training, she is a Reiki Master with a strong interest in the role of the nervous system in chronic pain, stress, and movement limitations. She was first introduced to Reiki while recovering from injuries during her gymnastics career and later deepened her practice during graduate school. This work reinforced her belief in the mind-body-spirit connection and its importance in long-term healing.

Today, Taylor offers in-person orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy, online rehab coaching, and energy healing sessions. Her work integrates science, intuition, and education to help clients feel strong, confident, and back in control of their bodies so they can return to the activities they love with resilience that extends beyond the physical.
